Duck Game Maps

Duck Game is a shooter platformer starring ducks with heavy weaponry.

My friend Jessey and I like to make all sorts of weird maps for our friend group to play!

You can download my maps from my site, or you can check them out through my Steam workshop.

On Windows, you can install the maps by putting the .lev files in one of these two locations, depending on your settings, or wherever your steam installation is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Duck Game\Content\levels

C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Documents\DuckGame\Levels

Classes

Play as one of twelve classes and explore a world filled with hidden traps and items!

A few lesser known game mechanics are needed to play this map to its fullest:

• Crouching then jumping lets your duck drop through thin platforms
• The toilet-paper looking roll is duct tape (duck tape?) and can be used to stick two items together
• The L-shaped contraption is a holster, and can be used to carry an additional item
  • Hit the throw item button while jumping to swap to your holstered item

After you've grabbed all of your items and taped and holstered them as you wish, your decked out duck is ready to explore the world.

You can immediately start killing each other, or you can have fun exploring!

All hidden goodies can be accessed by any class, although you might need to think outside the box for some.

Keys are key and often in short supply.

There's also more than a few ways to get into the riches of the hidden underworld!

The Two Ships

Players spawn on two ships locked in combat, with both manned weapons and timed-interval grenade cannons on-board.

Alternatively, you can grab a grappling hook and board the enemy with sword and pistol!

If your ship's hold does fill with burning fluid, worry not. Your duck can find a new home on a desert isle, or deep at the bottom of the sea.

Space War

Two Homeworld-esque motherships face one another in the void, each armed with weapon platforms that can cause trouble on their rival ship's decks.

Each weapon station features three buttons to press:

• Deploying a shield of rocks defends against laser rifle fire
• The mighty death laser can bypass shields, but takes a moment to charge up
• Laser rifles fire fast and are angled just right to hit weak points on the enemy ship

For the daring, jetpacks and remote control drones serve as means to kill the enemy ducks up close and personally.

Gold Miners

The map is full of weapons, but you need to work to get them!

"Chop wood" and pillar up to heaven for a golden gun, or use matches and explosives to dig for buried treasure.

Remember to wear your hard hats and watch your step in the workshop, or you might end up in the safety inspector's dungeon.

First one to strike gold wins!

Boss Battle

Three ducks start with simple weapons, while a fourth is armed to the tooth.

Throwable crates and sewer pipes have been added such that one might roleplay Donkey Kong at their own leisure.

Bomberman

My first Duck Game map!

There are plenty of ways to kill your fellow ducks, but none of them are easy.

Explosives and trickery are the only option — no quick and painless deaths allowed.
